In February 2019 selected as expert for the Horizontal Working Group (HWG) on 100% Renewable Energy Districts of the of the Renewable Heating and Cooling (RHC) European Platform. In 2022, elected member of the International Compumag Society Board, as representative of Europe in the timeframe 2022-2028. Main Research Projects The activity has regarded leadership or participation in several research projects funded at different levels. In last ten years, attention has been focused on planning of energy networks, municipal or regional, where results of the research on optimal use of polygeneration microgrids could be positively implemented. In 2012-2014, coordinator of ”SVPP: Smart Virtual Power Plant” Research Project granted by Piedmont Region on the base of EU funding.
